Dr. Jill K. Miedema, M.D.
Dr. Miedema joined LFM in 2012. She enjoys being a family doctor because of the chance to form long-term relationships with patients and their families and the focus on preventive health.
She is a graduate of Calvin College and Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, earning her M.D. in 2005. She completed her residency in family medicine at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She was a National Health Service Corps Scholar and spent four years working in a community health center in inner city Minneapolis. She speaks Spanish and has spent time abroad in Spain and Ecuador. Dr. Miedema and her husband Chris have two daughters and one son. The thing she appreciates most about LFM is the commitment to quality care and genuine compassion and dedication of the staff.
