William L. VanderVliet, M.D.
Dr. VanderVliet was born in the Chicago area, he moved to Michigan at age 13 and has been a Michigan resident ever since. He is a graduate of Calvin College and Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. VanderVliet completed the Grand Rapids Area Medical Education Center (GRAMEC) Family Practice Residency and has been a partner with Lakewood Family Medicine since 1986. He is also Vice President of Medical Affairs at Holland Hospital. Dr. VanderVliet enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He has been a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and his other personal interests include genealogy research, photography, travel, and music. Dr. VanderVliet and his wife Rita have three married children and four grandchildren.
